I was born in Yuma
Arizona and was raised in New York till I was 7 and moved to Southern
California. That's where I grew up, in a little town called Hemet, which is
right next to Temecula. When I graduate, I am going to go to law school
and eventually be a lawyer. My plans to get there are simple, I will work
hard and I will never give up.
I am LIKE my parents in
that I love my kids and I will do anything and everything for them. I am a going to college UNLIKE my parents, as I am a first
generation college student.
I would say I always operate on
my own expectations throughout my life but it wasn’t until recently when I
discovered what I love and what I was meant to do. I believe I am meant to be
an attorney.
I really admire my
little brother because he knew what he wanted to do at a very young age. He joined
the military and became a firefighter. He does what he loves and is a very
responsible husband and father. He is a “by the book” kind of person 100% of
the time.
I would say I am
more like a wolf because I like to take care of those close to me as well be
someone people can count on or turn to for help, like a pack leader. I feel
like I am a natural born leader. I don’t like to follow what other people do or
what the latest trends are. I am loyal and I also enjoy helping others when
they are in need.
One of the things I
loved to do was building clubhouses. One day I decided to build my very own
tree house around our tree in our backyard. That was my place to go to get away
from everything and be at peace. It’s where I go to relax. When I see a tree to
this day, I feel at peace. I even built a big tree house for my kids for them
to enjoy like I did.
I love your straightforward way of writing, my type of dude. I chose the wolf too!
ReplyDeleteThat is great that you want to be a lawyer! My sister just graduated from law school and took the BAR exam recently. Just like you admire your sibling, I admire mine as well. I look up to my sister for her determined and positive attitude.
ReplyDeleteNick-
ReplyDeleteI love how important family is to you, I can relate. Congrats on finding your passion and good luck in law school. Your mindset and determination will get you far. Not all that go to college young have their lives figured out, actually most don't. Glad you found something that works for you and brought you here.
Thanks for sharing!
